World leaders, parties, organizations congratulate Xi on election as CPC chief (Part II)

10:20, November 19, 2012

Chairperson of the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front (Zanu-PF) Simon Khaya Moyo said his party has noted that China has remained guided by the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, with which the results are evident all over the world.

The Zanu-PF and the Zimbabwe would continue to be inspired by the great success of China, he said.

Solly Afrika Mapaila, second deputy general secretary of the South African Communist Party, said he looked forward to enhancing the exchanges with the CPC and promoting inter-party relations to higher levels so as to boost cooperation between the governments of the two countries.

Rui Falcao, president of Brazil's Workers' Party, said in his message they welcome the recent election of the new central leadership of the CPC and the new General Secretary of the CPC's Central Committee Xi Jinping, as well as other members of the Standing Committee of the Politburo.

"We congratulate the successful close of the congress," he said, adding that the CPC has made serious commitment to improving people's living standards through a dual course of economic development and social development.

He said he hopes to strengthen the relations between the Workers' Party and the CPC, which would further strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries.

Alberto Moreno, general secretary of the Communist Party of Peru (Red Fatherland), said they wish the CPC and the Chinese people could continuously make new achievements and success under Xi's leadership.

The decisions of the congress are crucial to ensuring that socialism with Chinese characteristics can keep developing and self-perfecting, he said, adding that the construction of a theoretical system and its own way of socialism with Chinese characteristics have enriched Marxism.
