World leaders, parties, organizations congratulate Xi on election as CPC chief (Part II) (2)

He said China has set an example for communists around the world, persisting in Marxism-Leninism, to solve problems in light of its domestic conditions and in a creative way.

George A. Pilgrim, general secretary of the Democratic Labor Party (DLP) of Barbados, said they are particularly pleased to offer congratulations to the newly elected General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, also Chairman of the CPC Central Military Commission, Xi Jinping on his elevation to office.

The DLP wished to affirm its strong commitment to deepened ties with China and its people, he said, adding that the DLP stood ready to work with the new leadership of China and the CPC.

Concepcion Ortiz, vice president of Bolivia's Movement for Socialism, sent warm congratulations on Xi's election as the general secretary of the CPC Central Committee.

"We believe Xi's election is a wise decision made by the Central Committee of the 18th CPC National Congress," Ortiz said, adding that they hope to strengthen and deepen the two parties' relationship, which would benefit the people of the two countries.

Daisaku Ikeda, honorary president of Japan's Soka Gakkai (Value-Creation Society), sent his congratulation on the successful close of the congress and Xi's election as the general secretary of the CPC Central Central Committee.

China would be more important in the international community and the Sino-Japan friendship is the key to protecting Asia's and even the world's peace and stability, he said, adding that Soka Gakkai would commit itself to deepened exchange with China in all fields, such as culture and education.
