6 killed, 3 injured in E China road accident

NANJING, May 31(Xinhua) -- Six people were killed and three others injured after a semi-trailer collided with a mini-bus in east China's Jiangsu Province Friday morning, local authorities said.

The collision happened at 10:08 a.m. on the No. 333 provincial road in the city of Gaoyou, according to the municipal publicity department.

Rescue work is under way.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
