BEIJING, April 28 (Xinhua) -- The number of traffic accidents on China's expressways declined 31.2 percent year-on-year in the first four months, with deaths from traffic accidents also down 28.6 percent.
The data was revealed Sunday by the Traffic Management Bureau under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).
Speeding and fatigued driving accounted for 13.5 percent and 7.7 percent of all accidents, respectively, according to the ministry.
