NANNING, April 25 (Xinhua) -- At least one person has been injured after a rainstorm on Thursday led to the collapse of two structures in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, firefighters said.
One of the structures, a food processing plant workshop, collapsed after a heavy rainstorm hit Jingxi County in the city of Baise around 6:30 p.m., burying a number of workers, firefighters with the city said.
So far, 23 people have been evacuated from the workshop, and one of them is injured.
The other collapse happened near the county's mental health hospital, and information on casualties is not yet known.
Rescue work is ongoing.
