SHANGHAI, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The search for seven fishermen missing since their boat sank off east China's Shanghai officially closed on Wednesday, after a massive operation lasting more than 60 hours returned the body of one of the men and has left the other six unaccounted for.

The sunken boat they were travelling onboard was brought to land on Wednesday afternoon and only one body was found on it, according to a statement from the Maritime Safety Administration of Shanghai.

It said more than 10 ships and helicopters had been used for the search since Nov. 25, when the boat sank. The search officially ended at 2:12 p.m. on Wednesday.

The wooden fishing vessel, Lunanyu 400160, lost contact with the monitoring system of the administration when it was about six nautical miles off the coast of Shanghai's Nanhui County on Nov. 25.
