Liang Guanglie leaves Beijing to visit three European countries

Liang Guanglie, state councilor and minister of national defense of the People's Republic of China (PRC), left Beijing on January 7, 2012 for official goodwill visit to the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Macedonia and Ukraine at the invitations of Ales Hojs, Fatmir Besimi and Pavlo Lebedyev, respective ministers of defense of the above three countries.

Liang Guanglie departed by air with his entourage including Cui Changjun, assistant to the director of the General Political Department (GPD) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), Zhong Zhiming, deputy commander of the Shenyang Military Area Command (MAC) of the PLA, Wang Jun, deputy commander of the PLA Jinan MAC, and Wu Changhai, director of the Political Department of the PLA Nanjing MAC.
