BEIJING, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- Wan Exiang was elected chairman of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), one of China's eight non-communist parties, here on Tuesday.
The party concluded its week-long 12th national congress on the same day and announced the congress had elected its 12th Central Committee.
Wan, 56, was elected chairman of the RCCK Central Committee at the first plenary session of the 12th Central Committee.
The new leader is currently justice and vice president of China's Supreme People's Court. He holds a doctoral degree in law.
