BEIJING, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- The following is the biographical sketch of Li Zhanshu:
Li Zhanshu, born in August 1950, is a male ethnic Han from Pingshan, Hebei Province. He entered the workforce in December 1972 and joined the CPC in April 1975. He graduated from the Department of Political Education, Evening College, Hebei Normal University and received a university education while in service, and holds an executive MBA degree.
He is currently a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, member of its Secretariat, director of its General Office, and secretary of the Working Committee of the Organs Directly Under the CPC Central Committee.
