Japan October jobless rate stays at 4.2%

TOKYO, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Japan's jobless rate stayed at 4.2 percent in October from the previous month, government data showed Friday.

The result was in line with market forecasts.

Separate data showed the nation's job vancancies fell for the second straight month. The ratio of job offers to seekers declined to 0.80 in October from 0.81 in September.
