TBILISI, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili on Wednesday congratulated his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan on re-election.
In a telephone call, the Georgian president wished Sargsyan with successes and well-being, and congratulated the Armenian people on their democratic development.
Sargsyan, who collected 58.64 percent of the votes in Monday's election, has got several messages of congratulation.
Second in Armenian's presidential vote is Raffi Hovannisian, who served as the country's first foreign minister between 1991 and 1992.
