D1 Leave from Kunming to Mojiang County, Pu'er City, and visit the Tropic of Cancer Mark Tower and the Twin Cultural Park there. (Mojiang Tropic of Cancer Marks Tower Park is a national AAA scenic spot and the largest memorial building for the Tropic of Cancer with the richest contents in the world. It integrates astronomy, popular science, leisure, entertainment, experience and tourism, making itself a cultural landscape. Moreover, it is also an education base for patriotism education and a popular science education in Yunnan Province.) Then, have lunch at Mojiang County.

After that, visit Nakeli Posthouse. (It was said that the tea-horse roads were so rugged that horses with heavy burden couldn't pass there, thus they just burst into tears. Hence the name Makuli or Nakeli.) This is followed by a visit to the downtown of Pu'er City (where one will visit the northern part of Pu'er, Ximahe Landscape Platform, Putiqing Village, Pu'er Tea Seed Farm and Pu'er Tea enterprises and observe the tea manufacturing process.)
