On September 27, a delegation led by Ge Junjie, Vice President of Bright Food Group and Chairman of Shanghai Tangjiu (Group) Co., Ltd. (SSCW for short), visited Metcash Limited, one Australia’s leading wholesale distribution and marketing food company. Ge Junjie along with his delegation members met with Ian R Morrice, Chief Executive Officer of Metcash Limited, and other senior management staff members on food operation management of Metcash Limited, full exploring the cooperation potentials and strategic directions of Metcash Limited with SSCW as well as Manassen Foods on Chinese market.

During the meeting, Ge gave a brief introduction about the operation of Bright Food Group, SSCW and Manassen Foods, and listened to the business presentation of Metcash Limited and its short-time business plans and objectives of further development in China. Meanwhile, Ge visited and inspected stores of IGA, one of Metcash’s private retail brands. On the meeting, both sides agreed that, as a large industrial group of China and Australia respectively, SSCW, which had acquired Manassen Foods, and Metcash Limited enjoyed extensive cooperation potentials in the sector of food distribution in China.
