The Drunken Dragon Pub Crawl is also eager to help you find a match on February 14 with a "Nuts and Bolts" game. "Valentine's Day is a holiday that is loved by most, but for those that are single this day reminds us that we are just that - single," said Marion Cramier, one of the organizers of the Valentine's pub crawl. "Fortunately, Drunken Dragon is here to help you find true love. Guys get a nut. Girls get a bolt. Find your match and the rest is history," Cramier added.

The V-Day Single's Crawl starts at the Irish bar O'Malley's (42 Taojiang Road, 6474-4533) at 9:30 pm with an one-hour open bar and free shots throughout the crawl. It is 150 yuan with a prior reservation, or 180 yuan at the door. Organizers promise free shots and drinks specials in other bars the crawl takes in. And if you don't find that "special one," at least you will have made some new party friends.

Spin me around

If you are in the mood for some live music this Valentine's Day head to Lune (218 Xinle Road, 1390-1974-330) for a night with DJ collective Wonky Kong featuring resident turntablists Siesta, Arthur Fox and Beardslap. Entry is free. Specially-made Love Potion shots will be available for 10 yuan each and the fun gets going at 10 pm. Or for some rock music, head down to Yuyintang (851 Kaixuan Road, 5237-8662) for their Valentine's Day special where you can enjoy live music from Bigger Xifu, Rockbremen, Cosmicake and The Lanterns. Entry is 50 yuan with the first band taking the stage at 9:30 pm.

And if you are looking for somewhere to dance the night away, then M1NT is the place to go (318 Fuzhou Road, 6391-2811). Be sure to make a reservation beforehand to guarantee admission. The party starts at 10 pm.

Shot to the heart

The Windows franchise is hosting a Valentine's Day party at two of its three locations - Scoreboard (527 Huaihai Road Middle, 5382-7757) and Garage (702 Nanjing Road West, 6218-1360). Garage will be giving away free drinks for ladies all night and Scoreboard will offer free candies and free shots for ladies.

All of the above events are taking place on Thursday, February 14.
