Hong Kong fashion week highlights Chinese elements (3)

Having abandoned avant-garde ideas, international fashion designers are focusing on pragmatism in dress. And instead of being demonstrated in traditional patterns and colors, Chinese elements are being integrated with Western fashion in a more
subtle and harmonious way. (CNTV)

HK designer, Johanna Ho, references the concept of "heaven and earth in blank" from Chinese calligraphy. Through shallow yarn blinders, the model's head become part of the whole outfit. The simple large-scale clothing that is stylish and classical, shows the humbleness and profound in China's culture.
