Hong Kong fashion week highlights Chinese elements (2)

Having abandoned avant-garde ideas, international fashion designers are focusing on pragmatism in dress. And instead of being demonstrated in traditional patterns and colors, Chinese elements are being integrated with Western fashion in a more subtle and harmonious way. (CNTV)

With the concept of simple binary colors, the French designer cut the woolen fabric in a graceful way. The different unique corsages add individual elements to the urban uniform-style clothing.

Chinese designer Zhang Chi designed his fashions in black and white. With asymmetrical tailoring and stitching, he integrates a sense of modernity and technology with fashion. Using delicate Hangzhou silk as foil lines, the outfit shows mens' softness beneath their masculinity.
