Ye Shiwen, an ordinary girl to win a Grand Slam in swimming

Ye Shiwen, an adorable girl, used to be affectionately called Xiao yezi (nick name), has now become a leading athlete in Chinese women's swimming. In London Olympics, Ye Shiwen won two gold medals: one in women’s 200m individual medley, and the other in 400m individual medley, and she broke the world record in the two events. The whole world was amazed at her outstanding performance. Faced with foreign correspondents’ frame-up on doping, she bravely stood up and refute against the rumor in a reasonable manner. She sets a good example to all the Chinese athletes. In the 2012 Short Course Swimming Championships held at the end of the year, she won a Grand Slam in swimming. She is a world record breaker, a gold medalist in Olympics and in Long/Short Course Swimming Championships.
