The fourth is ecological civilization. The rise of the West relying on the industrial civilization makes tremendous contribution to the progress of human civilization. However, the Western industrial civilization is not civilized in respect of ecology but was enjoyed exclusively by a few countries at high cost and high energy consumption.
In 1844, Karl Marx wrote the following words when exploring and aspiring for the communist society: “... communism, as fully developed naturalism, equals humanism, and as fully developed humanism equals naturalism; it is the genuine resolution of the conflict between man and nature and between man and man – the true resolution of the strife between existence and essence, between objectification and self-confirmation, between freedom and necessity, between the individual and the species. Communism is the riddle of history solved, and it knows itself to be this solution.”
This is exactly the new message the 18th National Congress is to convey to the world today by playing “The Internationale” once again.
