Cooperation with China to boost confidence of Europe (2)

China's firm supports to Europe won the trust of European people and also created more opportunities for China-EU cooperation. During the 15th meeting of China-EU leaders in September 2012, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy said that the new China-EU relationship is incomparable with that of decades ago and it had made significant contribution to the dream of generations of people of building a peaceful and harmonious world.

The European people also gradually changed their views of China. The opinion polls by Pew Research Center to 22 countries in 2011 show that at least 60 percent of respondents of Britain, France, Germany and Spain feel optimistic about the the development prospect of China, and the proportion is higher than that of the rest of the world.

What does a powerful China mean to the world? The question has been lingering in the minds of many people and accompanying the course of China's development and growth. China had answered the question with its actions in the Asian financial crisis 15 years ago and now it once again fulfilled its commitment to the world in the face of current international financial crisis.
