Paramilitary trooper kills 4 colleagues after argument in Indian-controlled Kashmir

NEW DELHI, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- A paramilitary trooper with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) killed four colleagues, including an officer, following an argument in Indian-controlled Kashmir on Tuesday, police said.

The incident took place at a hydroelectric power project located at Mashka village in Basohli of Kathua district, about 310 km south of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.

Police have registered a case and ordered an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
