China ready to provide humanitarian earthquake relief assistance to Colombia: CIDCA spokesperson

BEIJING, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- China stands ready to offer humanitarian assistance within its capacity to support earthquake relief in Colombia, as the country suffered serious casualties and property losses from a recent powerful earthquake, China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) spokesperson Tang Ying said Tuesday.

Noting China is closely following the disaster, Tang said the Chinese side will provide support in appropriate ways based on Colombia's needs.
