Fujian coast guard conducts law enforcement patrol off Matsu, Wuqiu islands

BEIJING, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- The coast guard of east China's Fujian Province organized task forces to carry out comprehensive law enforcement patrol in the waters off the Matsu and Wuqiu islands on Monday, according to an online statement from the China Coast Guard.
The operation focused on subjects of identification and verification as well as control and expulsion, to test the forces' capabilities of rapid response and emergency handling, the statement said.
