Militia forms human chain to rescue children from Laifeng flood

During a sudden downpour on June 19, floodwaters surged into a kindergarten in Laifeng county, Hubei Province. In a remarkable display of bravery, Chinese militia members formed a human chain, carrying trapped children on their shoulders one by one through waist-deep water to safety.
