A historical local folk song variety from the Yi ethnic group, Haicai tune is a style of ultra-high pitched singing that is mainly prevalent in Shiping county in Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture. The folk song style was listed in the first batch the national intangible cultural heritage in 2006.
