The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda
Located in southern Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi province, the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda was first built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907). It is said the pagoda held sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by Buddhist translator and traveler, Xuanzang.
