Central guiding group for Party education campaign holds training session

BEIJING, April 5 (Xinhua) -- The guiding group of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee for the education campaign on the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era held a training session on Tuesday.

During the session, the guiding principles of the speech made by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, at a recent meeting on the education campaign were studied, and work on the supervision and guidance of the campaign was discussed and arranged.

Li Ganjie, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and executive deputy chief of the central leading group of the campaign, told the session that efforts should be focused on producing real results in the education campaign.

Li also urged the central guiding group to maintain the right direction in the supervision and guidance work while adopting a problem-oriented approach.

Members of the central guiding group should earnestly perform their duties, making their work more targeted and effective, he added.
