Carpenter family from Xinjiang makes exquisite woodworks

“They are artisans. They are my idols,” 13-year-old Aimaitijiang from the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region says of his parents as he plays with the wooden spinning tops made by them. Aimaitijiang comes from a family of carpenters, who make their own furniture and toys.
