BEIJING, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- Shi Wenqing, a former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of Jiangxi Provincial People's Congress, is being investigated for suspected serious violations of Party disciplinary rules and laws, according to the country's top anti-graft body Monday.

Shi is being investigated by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.
