An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted 60km E of Lakatoro, Vanuatu at 03:15:43 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 165.66 km, was initially determined to be at 16.0936 degrees south latitude and 167.9806 degrees east longitude.
