HANGZHOU, April 13 (Xinhua) -- The eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang announced Monday cross-provincial and cross-border tourism are still not encouraged as the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases from overseas continues to rise.
To ensure the orderly reopening of tourist attractions, Zhejiang will continue to limit the flow of tourists to half of their daily capacity for a period of time, said the provincial leading group office for epidemic prevention and control at a press conference.
Meanwhile, all the major tourist attractions in the province will provide online ticket bookings to prevent close contact among visitors. Tourists are required to present their "health code" to demonstrate their personal health condition when entering scenic areas, which will be strictly disinfected.
By the end of Sunday, Zhejiang had reported 49 imported cases.
