BEIJING, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Civil Affairs said Thursday that its venue for receiving public visits has been temporarily closed due to the new coronavirus outbreak.

During the closure, the public can lodge their appeals or advice on civil affairs online or by letters and telephone, the ministry said.

The venue will be reopened at a later date based on the development of the epidemic, the ministry added.
