
NINGBO, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Sub-indices of the China Ningbo Containerized Freight Index (NCFI) for U.S. routes were mixed this week, with rising sub-index for route to the east coast and dropping sub-reading for the west coast.
The NCFI, reflecting freight rate changes of 21 routes departing from the Ningbo-Zhoushan port, stood at 964 points Friday, down 3.7 percent compared with the previous week.
The sub-reading for the east coast of the United States stood at 1,016.9 points, up 2.3 percent week on week, while that for west coast stood at 928 points, down 6.6 percent.
The NCFI was first published in September 2013.
