
BEIJING, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- Guangdong Southeast Tigers center Yi Jianlian and Qingdao Eagles guard Darius Adams were named Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) Players of the Month on Thursday.
Yi registered an average of 18.7 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.8 blocks per game, leading Guangdong to ten wins from 11 matches last December.
Guangdong top the CBA table with a 21-2 win-loss record.
Adams averaged 37.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 3.0 steals across Qingdao's seven victories in ten games this month.
Qingdao sit ninth in the 20-team CBA with a win-loss record of 13-9.
