BEIJING, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed four new ambassadors in accordance with a decision by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, according to a statement from the national legislature Tuesday.
Wang Yu was appointed ambassador to Afghanistan, replacing Liu Jinsong.
Zhu Jing was appointed ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, replacing Wang Tongqing.
Huang Yazhong was appointed ambassador to Bolivia, replacing Liang Yu.
Liang Yu was appointed ambassador to Peru, replacing Jia Guide.
