Team China continued its dominance in diving at the Military World Games in Wuhan, clinching all three gold medals on offer on Friday.
The women's one meter springboard final saw intense competition with the three medalists' final scores within 6.9 points in margin.
China's Huang Xiaohui finally won the title with 305.7 points, edging her teammate Chang Yani by 2.4 points. Russian diver Kristina Ilinykh took the bronze.
Huang said she was delighted to win the tough event. She also praised the other two medalists, who put her on edge throughout the whole competition.
"I was quite nervous in the first two attempts," Huang said after the competition, "I told myself to slow down. My teammate Chang and the Russian athlete had wonderful performances, especially Chang. Every detail of her each round was better than mine. Our coach would actually let us learn her moves in everyday training."
Although she failed to claim the gold medal, Ilinykh won the spectators over with her challenge to the top Chinese divers.
"I accomplished my best level today and I enjoyed every moment in this game," Ilinykh said.
The men's diving events was less competitive as Chinese athletes proved a dominant force from the start to end.
Chinese pair Lian Junjie and Yang Hao claimed the synchronized platform title. The duo made four spotless dives, with two of them nearing full marks.
Germany and Russia took the silver and bronze respectively.
In the final event of the day, Xie Siyi of China pocketed the men's three-meter springboard gold medal.
Xie had a steady performance in all four rounds, with every attempt almost reaching nine points from each referee.
Wang Zongyuan completed China's one-two finish with a silver. Yury Naurozau of Belarus won the bronze medal.
Team China has obtained all seven golds so far in diving as the tournament goes into the penultimate match day in Wuhan.
