BEIJING, Oct. 8 -- Chinese mainland remained as the largest origin of tourists to the Asia-Pacific region, a report released by the payment company Mastercard showed.
Tourists from Chinese mainland formed the biggest group of customers of the top five tourist destinations in the Asia-Pacific region, including Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo and Seoul, the report said.
Chinese mainland ranked top three in exporting tourists to 82 destinations in this region, accounting for over half of the 161 destinations surveyed.
