BEIJING, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- President Xi Jinping delivered a speech at the presentation ceremony of the national medals and honorary titles of the People's Republic of China in the Great Hall of the People Sunday morning.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, presented the medals to the awardees before the speech.
