
HONG KONG, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong-based airline Cathay Pacific Airways Limited announced on Friday that with effect from Aug. 19, Rupert Hogg has resigned as chief executive officer, and Paul Loo has resigned as chief customer and commercial officer.
Augustus Tang has been appointed as chief executive officer in place of Hogg, while Ronald Lam has been appointed chief customer and commercial officer in place of Loo.
John Slosar, chairman of Cathay Pacific, said, "Augustus Tang and Ronald Lam have the experience and depth of knowledge of aviation and our people to be strong and effective leaders of Cathay Pacific at this sensitive time."
