
BRASILIA, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- A Communist Party of China (CPC) delegation visited Brazil from Wednesday to Friday, discussing with the Brazilian side inter-party exchanges and practical cooperation.
The delegation was led by Li Jun, deputy head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the CPC.
During the visit, Li met with the leader of the Social Liberal Party Luciano Bivar, the leader of the Democrats party Antonio Carlos Magalhaes Neto and the leader of the Brazilian Democratic Movement party Romero Juca, respectively.
In the meetings, the delegation expounded on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and exchanged views on strengthening bilateral inter-party exchanges as well as promoting dialogue among BRICS parties.
The Brazilian side expressed willingness to deepen exchanges and mutual learning with the CPC, promote bilateral practical cooperation and promote dialogue among BRICS parties to make new achievements. Enditem
