BEIJING, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Various cutting-edge robotic technologies and products will be displayed at the 2019 World Robot Conference scheduled for Aug. 20 to 25, conference organizers said Friday.

This year's conference will assemble nearly 200 guests from 22 countries and feature a series of exhibition areas for new technologies and products, such as medical robots, multi-legged robots and smart logistics, said Xu Xiaolan, vice president of the Chinese Institute of Electronics.

Xu added that over 700 robotic products involving 21 sectors will be exhibited at the conference.

Themed "Intelligent Ecosystem for a New Open Era," the conference will be jointly held by the Beijing municipal government, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Association for Science and Technology.
