BEIJING, June 25 (Xinhua) -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has called for deepening the self-reform of the Party in the new era.

Xi made the remarks while presiding over a group study session of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau on Monday.

He asked the whole Party to remain true to its original aspiration and keep its mission firmly in mind.
