

With gross box office of 3.1 billion yuan on the Chinese mainland as of the end of May 1st, Disney and Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame" has become the first imported film earning over 3 billion yuan according to the data from Mtime, an integrated film marketing and media platform in the country.
The film's daily box office on the mainland on May 1 was over 500 million yuan, accounting for 84.3% of the gross daily box office (594 million yuan).
"Avengers: Endgame" is now the 6th highest grossing film in the mainland history, overtaking domestic feature "Dying to Survive."
It also surpassed "Fast and Furious 8" with 2.7 billion yuan in total box office at 0:00 a.m. on May 1st.
