
VIENTIANE, April 10 (Xinhua) -- China will assist 30 villages in northern Laos' Luang Prabang Province and central Vientiane Province to improve infrastructure.
A meeting minutes of site inspection over feasibility study of the China-aided poverty reduction demonstration villages project in Laos was signed on Tuesday in Lao capital Vientiane.
The minutes was signed by Wang Qihui, economic and commercial counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Laos, and Saysana Sithiphone, chief cabinet of Laos-China Cooperation Commission.
According to the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the Chinese Embassy in Laos, the project is set to help 30 Lao villages in Vientiane Province in the central and Luang Prabang Province, some 220 km north of Vientiane, improve infrastructure in the sectors of digital TV access, illumination, medical service and water supply.
