LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- Superhero film "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" took home the Best Animated Feature Award at the 91st Academy Awards ceremony, held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood in the western U.S. city of Los Angeles on Sunday night.

"Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" beat out strong rivals including "Incredibles 2," "Isle of Dogs," "Mirai," "Ralph Breaks the Internet."
