China's largest self-propelled vessel, named Tian Kun Hao, returned to Qidong Shipyard in Jiangsu Province after its first trial voyage, reports Xinhua News Agency.
The ship, which is owned by China Communications Construction Company, was launched in October. It then started a month-long test of its automated dredging system, which it passed with flying colors.
It took the ship's owner five years to develop a stable and high-efficiency dredging process, which the ship can manage automatically.
