
A 19-year-old Chinese student was killed in a robbery in Johannesburg on Monday, August 20, reports Chinanews.com.
Eights male Chinese students in a minibus were robbed on their way to the campus. When they jumped out of the bus to escape, one of them was shot by one of the robbers. The other students called the police. The police arrived at the scene 10 minutes later and found the body of a student.
The Chinese Consulate General in Johannesburg has confirmed the news. The case is under investigation.
