Wang Linjuan is just like anyone else from Fuyang, Zhejiang Province, except for the fact that she has spent the past 19 years giving her love and attention to an elderly homeless woman, the Qianjiang Evening News reported.

The woman, surnamed Pan, lost her husband to disease-related complications in 1997. Childless and all alone, her only option was to seek help from a family relative in Fuyang. But sadly, her request was denied by the only one she thought she could trust.

Out of hunger and desperation, she mustered up enough courage to beg Wang and her husband for help. They couldn’t bear watching her live on the streets, so they brought her into their home.

Pan did not realize it then, but it was at this moment her life would dramatically change forever, unaware she had just met a pair of angels.

For nearly 20 years, the couple treated Pan well and showed her great respect. After Pan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, Wang became more attentive to her needs and would feed her when it was time to eat.

Wang’s kindness has come back to her in the form of a blessing. Today, she enjoys a successful business career and recently built a home for her family.

As for Pan, she is thankful and proud of her adopted “daughter.”

“For me, Linjuan is the most beloved person in the world. Had it not been for her, I would not have lived this long or happy,” said Pan.
