HK university partners with world's top business schools for master's programs

HONG KONG, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) announced here Tuesday its partnership with two of the world's top business schools to launch dual-degree master's programs.

The HKUST partners with Yale School of Management (SOM) in the United Statesand HEM Paris, an institute specializing in management education and research based in France, to offer three options of dual-degree master's programs.

On completing the programs, namely HKUST-Yale Master of Science in International Management (MIMT) Program, HEC-HKUST Master of Science in International Management (MIMT) Program, and HKUST-Yale Master of Science in Global Operations (MSGO) Program, students will be conferred with two master's degrees.

According to HKUST, the MIMT program leverages the academic excellence and geographical advantages of participating schools to make students fully understand the distinctive business environment and ecosystem, while the MSGO program provides a solid foundation on all business disciplines for students with a focus on operations management knowledge, preparing them to become all-rounded business leaders.

These programs are designed for fresh graduates or candidates of less than three years of work experience.
