Chinese Premier Li Keqiang is meeting with US President Donald Trump at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Thursday, the second day of Trump's state visit to China.
Trump has brought more than two dozen captains of US industry with him on this trip. These major business figures represent the energy, industrial, financial services and agricultural industries.
In the past two days, deals worth a total of 253.5 billion US dollars have been agreed to, setting a record for China-US trade relations. Chinese media called it a "miracle" in the history of China-US relations.
Trump arrived in Beijing Wednesday afternoon for a three-day state visit. It is Trump's first visit to China since he assumed the presidency in January. He is the first head of state to visit China since the landmark 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and Trump held talks earlier on Thursday, after a grand welcome ceremony at the Great Hall of the People.
