An amendment to the Constitution of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was approved Tuesday, making Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as a new component of the Party's guide for action, according to a resolution of the 19th CPC National Congress.
Delegates to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Tuesday passed resolutions on a report of the 18th CPC Central Committee, a work report of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and an amendment to the CPC Constitution, at the closing session of the congress.
